This policy describes how Biochar Concrete Solutions Inc. ("BCS," "we," "us") handles information collected through biocharconcretesolutions.com. It applies to this website only.
Information we collect
Contact form. If you use our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, company (optional), the nature of your inquiry, and your message. The form is processed by Web3Forms, which handles form contents and related request metadata (including IP address) on our behalf for delivery, security, and spam prevention, and may share limited data with spam-prevention services. We use this information to respond to you and for ordinary business correspondence. Web3Forms retains submission data under its own privacy policy (currently up to three years) separate from the copy delivered to our email. See web3forms.com/privacy.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site: pages viewed, referring sites, approximate (city-level) location, and device and browser type. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to distinguish visits. We use this information in aggregate to operate and improve the site; we do not use it to identify individual visitors. Google's practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy, and Google offers a browser opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
Hosting and server logs. Our hosting provider (GoDaddy) automatically records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) and adds a small script of its own to served pages for its service analytics. Those practices are described in GoDaddy's privacy policy.
How we use information
We use the information above to respond to inquiries, operate and secure the site, and understand how it is used. We do not sell personal information, we do not run advertising on this site, and we do not use the information collected here for advertising or profiling.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers named above (Web3Forms, Google, GoDaddy), each acting to provide its service, and where disclosure is required by law. We do not share contact-form submissions with third parties for their own use.
Cookies and your choices
The only cookies BCS sets on this site are the Google Analytics cookies described above. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, use Google's opt-out add-on, or browse with tracking protection enabled. The site works fully without cookies.
Retention
Contact-form correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and for ordinary business records. Web3Forms retains its copy of submissions under its own policy, noted above. Analytics data is retained for the period noted above. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's schedule.
Access and deletion
If you would like a copy of the correspondence you have sent us, or want it deleted, email us at info@biocharconcretesolutions.com and we will handle it promptly.
Children
This site is directed to a professional audience and not to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the revised version here with a new effective date.
